Story Expert and Creativity Coach Dominick Domingo is a Disney Feature Animation veteran, founder of Art Center’s Entertainment Track and author of ‘Language of the Soul.’ Dominick champions the innate role of story in cultural evolution: fueling the march toward human potential. Dominick honed the craft of STORYTELLING during the Animation Renaissance, working on films like Lion King, Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tarzan, Little Match Girl and One By One for Disney Feature Animation. In a world where Content Creation masquerades as Story for the almighty dollar, Dominick champions artistic integrity and literary value as ends in themselves. With the premise that purposeful contribution and mainstream success can be one and the same, he coaches creatives in connecting with their authentic voices and honoring inspiration, above all else. After leaving Disney, Dominick’s live-action films won awards and garnered distribution in the festival circuit. This led to his lifelong love of writing being placed on the front burner. A published, award-winning screenwriter and author (of YA Fantasy, Narrative Nonfiction and Literary Fiction) Dominick is well-versed in the marketing challenge that comes with genre-blends and underrepresented, marginalized voices. As an LGBTQ2+ author, he advocates finding the universal in the subjective. In that spirit, his latest novel chronicles his own journey back from the brink of death due to full-blown AIDS as a parable for the spiritual journey we all share. Set to launch in May, 2023, The Seeker is Mythic Fiction (think Madeline Miller’s The Song of Achilles) meets Visionary Fiction (Paul Coelho’s The Alchemist) by genre. As a companion piece, he will also be launching his definitive handbook on STORY, Language of the Soul. His first nonfiction book, it’s a comprehensive breakdown of Storytelling in all its forms, as applied in the arts and literature, academia, business practices, marketing, branding, content creation for social media and even propaganda. Emphasis is on personal voice and purposeful contribution to the collective. Dominick’s approach to the Creative Process is anything but elitist; the warmth of his message lies in accessibility and inclusiveness.

Social media blasts (platforms below) as well as posts in my various LinkedIn and FB Groups. My platform includes a huge Magic, the Gathering following, as well as the Animation Community (both Disney/Dreamworks/Blue Sky/Nickelodeon colleagues and fans) twenty years of former (Art Center and other top schools) students in the Illustration or Entertainment fields, including gaming. As a writer/director of award-winning films I have ties to the filmmaking community/festival circuit and as a published author, with the literary and publishing community. Much of my work is gay-themed so I have ties with the LGBT community. I have taught at private and state colleges for 20 years and have ties in the Academic world. I promote in all circles, dependent on nature of content.
