Melissa DaSilva is an entrepreneur, Queer Coach, podcast host, therapist, and author.
Melissa started her career in the social work field. She has worked in agencies and schools for many years. Always wanting to make more of an impact on society, Melissa started the mental health agency East Coast Mental Wellness. Melissa is a self-taught entrepreneur that started her business from nothing and grew it to a 6-figure business in less than three years. She created an environment that gives therapists a place to do work that they love so that they can help clients make the change they so desperately want.
Melissa now spends most of her time working with clients that are in her Queer Career Coaching program. She works with LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs, executives, and leaders who feel stuck and unfulfilled despite the appearance of success. In just a few sessions with Melissa, her clients have experienced positive shifts in their lives. Her background as a therapist and entrepreneur, combined with her sassy nature, sets her apart from other coaches.
Melissa has been published on many website blogs and featured as a guest on several international podcasts. She Is the author of the book The Profitable Practice, Helping Healing Professionals Start, and Grow a Successful Business and the host of Chit Chat with a Queer Coach podcast.
When not working, Melissa enjoys spending time creating art, reading about business tactics, and connecting and laughing with others. She is a proud wife and pet parent of her certified therapy dog Brutus.
