Phillip Cohen founded Healthy Leaders, a coaching ministry that helps struggling business owners build strong, cohesive leadership teams with God in the center. His talks, workshops, seminars plus his frequent podcasts carry his message of discovering and inviting Jesus into every aspect of life, often in unexpected ways and places. This theme weaves through his book revealing his own life and struggles.
Phillip grew up in a violent and dysfunctional Jewish home in inner-city Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami. After wandering around in three countries, in 1975, Phillip and his new bride, Gina, settled in rural Tennessee. There he discovered a passion and talent for woodworking and started building porch swings and wooden toys in a neighbor’s pigpen, which eventually grew into a multi-million dollar national cabinet company that completed multiple projects for large clients such as Walmart. In 2017, Phillip was awarded the Small Business Person of the Year for Missouri. In addition, the company was featured in many news stories and media outlets because they placed people ahead of profits.
