Personal:
Hope and Adventure are two words that I thrive on. I believe God is a Creative and Adventurous God, full of Grace and Truth in Jesus Christ, and I long for everyone to come and know that God.
Steve has been married to his Bride, Debi, for over 32 years, and they have four young adult children. Steve and Debi have served in Moscow, Russia, as missionaries, at a local church in Indiana, and at a church plant from scratch in California before moving to Houston in 2010 to lead a church turnaround situation. Steve loves being out in God’s creation and spending time with Debi, his family, and his friends.
Steve has a BBL and BTH from Ozark Christian College and an MA in Practical Ministries from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. He is the author of “Confessions: Finding Hope Through One Pastor’s Doubt” and regularly posts on his blog, kingdomology.com.
Steve enjoys God’s creation and likes to tell people that one of the windows in his mansion in heaven will look out onto a new Lake Tahoe. Steve regularly writes on kingdomology.org.
The Book, Confessions:
Confessions is a raw book that comes out of Steve's 30 years of full-time Christian ministry and working with people in their trenches of life. He has served as a missionary in Russia, a church planter in California, and a preaching minister for two local Christian churches in Indiana and Houston. Steve is a graduate of Ozark Christian College with Bachelor of Biblical Literature and Bachelor of Theology degrees. He received his Master of Practical Ministries from Cincinnati Christian Seminary. He continues to engage in world evangelism.
Steve is also just a regular guy who has struggled with issues of faith like the rest of us. In his book, he has shed the religious mask and connected real life and real faith. He has been married to Debi for 27 years, and they have four children. Steve enjoys God’s creation and likes to tell people that one of the windows in his mansion in heaven will look out onto a new Lake Tahoe. Steve regularly writes on kingdomology.org.
