While working for a small DJ company in 1983, I gained experience as a music purchaser and roadie. I've since worked with corporations, non-profit organizations, private clients with a variety of specialized needs.
Over the years, I've performed at hundreds of weddings, quinceaneras, bar / bat mitzvahs, reunions, holiday parties and street festivals, just to name a few.
I focus my specialization in helping clients consider not only what they want, but also what they don't want, for their celebrations. This applies to ideas they may have created themselves, seen at other events or gotten from third parties, such as TV or magazines.
I guide clients through the process of explaining their vision to the professional DJ/MC with as much details as possible, including colors, sounds and smells. They are taught the DJ/MC's style of time management, performance techniques, and how to manage their own expectations when cooperating with an entertainer.
I coach clients on the execution of traditions or new elements that they would like to incorporate into their celebration.
I am currently the co-president of the Southern California Chapter of ADJA (American DJ Association), which is an association of professional mobile entertainers on a mission to encourage success for its members through continuous education, camaraderie, and networking.
