I'm Barbie, and Iâm known for saying the things people are thinking, but arenât saying out loud with compassion, real -life experience and a side of humour.
I work with high-functioning women who look like they have it all together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they canât seem to break. The overthinkers, the people-pleasers, the ones whoâve been âstrongâ for too long.
My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. Iâm currently completing my counselling diploma while also building a coaching practice focused on confidence, boundaries, and self-trust.
But what really shapes my voice is what Iâve lived through: divorce, major life transitions, and navigating a public-facing experience with Bell's palsy; all which that forced me to redefine identity, confidence, and how I show up in the world.
I bring a mix of depth and humour to these conversations because letâs be honest, some of the hardest things we go through are also the most human, and sometimes a little humour is what actually makes it make the most sense.
As the host of Real Talk with Barbie and an experienced podcast guest, Iâm comfortable going deep quickly while keeping conversations natural, engaging, and easy to listen to.
My style is honest, direct, and relatable. Iâm not polished or scripted, and thatâs exactly why people connect with me.
What Makes Me a Great Guest:
I bring real-life experience, not just theory
I balance depth with humour so conversations feel real and engaging
Iâm comfortable going deep quickly while keeping it engaging and natural
I speak in a way your audience will feel, not just understand
Iâm easy to talk to; no rehearsed answers or forced energy
**I have experience as both a podcast host and guest, so I understand flow, timing, and how to support a great episode

đ§ Questions to ask me, or start with:
1. You work with high-functioning women who seem like they have it all together; whatâs really going on underneath that?
2. Why do you think so many women feel unfulfilled even when theyâre âdoing everything rightâ?
3. You talk a lot about people-pleasing, how does someone even know theyâre stuck in that pattern?
4. Whatâs the connection between being âthe strong oneâ and feeling emotionally exhausted?
5. Youâve been through some MAJOR life transitions. How did those experiences change the way you see confidence and identity?
6. Youâve spoken about your experience with Bellâs palsy, how did that impact your sense of self and how you show up in the world?
7. Why are boundaries so hard for people, even when they know they need them?
8. What does self-trust actually look like in real life? Not the buzzword version, but the real thing.
9. If someone feels stuck but canât figure out why, where should they start?
10. Whatâs one thing women need to stop doing immediately if they want to feel more like themselves again?
I talk a lot and am happy to share, write about and post to my followers and friends on all my platforms and mailing list. I also have a community for Bell's Palsy. Depending on the content and specific topics discussed, I will post to my feeds where the audience relates.
