🎧 Episode Title Ideas (but I am open to talk about pretty much anything!)
“The Hidden Cost of Being ‘The Strong One’ (And Why It’s So Hard to Stop)”
“When Your Life Looks Good on Paper but Doesn’t Feel Right”
“You’re Not Stuck, You’re Just Living a Life That Isn’t Yours”

🎧 Questions to ask me, or start with:
1. You work with high-functioning women who seem like they have it all together; what’s really going on underneath that?
2. Why do you think so many women feel unfulfilled even when they’re “doing everything right”?
3. You talk a lot about people-pleasing, how does someone even know they’re stuck in that pattern?
4. What’s the connection between being “the strong one” and feeling emotionally exhausted?
5. You’ve been through some MAJOR life transitions. How did those experiences change the way you see confidence and identity?
6. You’ve spoken about your experience with Bell’s palsy, how did that impact your sense of self and how you show up in the world?
7. Why are boundaries so hard for people, even when they know they need them?
8. What does self-trust actually look like in real life? Not the buzzword version, but the real thing.
9. If someone feels stuck but can’t figure out why, where should they start?
10. What’s one thing women need to stop doing immediately if they want to feel more like themselves again?

About Me
Mental Health

I'm Barbie, and I’m known for saying the things people are thinking, but aren’t saying out loud with compassion, real -life experience and a side of humour.

I work with high-functioning women who look like they have it all together on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. The overthinkers, the people-pleasers, the ones who’ve been “strong” for too long.

My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience. I’m currently completing my counselling diploma while also building a coaching practice focused on confidence, boundaries, and self-trust.

But what really shapes my voice is what I’ve lived through: divorce, major life transitions, and navigating a public-facing experience with Bell's palsy; all which that forced me to redefine identity, confidence, and how I show up in the world.

I bring a mix of depth and humour to these conversations because let’s be honest, some of the hardest things we go through are also the most human, and sometimes a little humour is what actually makes it make the most sense.

As the host of Real Talk with Barbie and an experienced podcast guest, I’m comfortable going deep quickly while keeping conversations natural, engaging, and easy to listen to.

My style is honest, direct, and relatable. I’m not polished or scripted, and that’s exactly why people connect with me.

What Makes Me a Great Guest:

I bring real-life experience, not just theory
I balance depth with humour so conversations feel real and engaging
I’m comfortable going deep quickly while keeping it engaging and natural
I speak in a way your audience will feel, not just understand
I’m easy to talk to; no rehearsed answers or forced energy
**I have experience as both a podcast host and guest, so I understand flow, timing, and how to support a great episode

🎧 Topics I Love to Talk About:

Why high-functioning women still feel like they’re not enough

The hidden cost of being “the strong one”

People-pleasing, overthinking, and how to actually break the cycle

Boundaries that don’t feel fake, forced, or aggressive

Rebuilding confidence after life hits you (divorce, illness, identity shifts)

What Bell’s Palsy taught me about identity, visibility, and self-worth

When your life looks good on paper but feels completely off

Learning to trust yourself after years of self-doubt

Why “doing everything right” still leaves so many women unfulfilled

Emotional burnout in high-achieving women (and what actually helps)
